At times it will seem impossible to do more than study, but you need to make time for working on your career from the start of the program so as to enable you to secure the right job at the right time.

The Placement Cell recognizes this distinctive quality, and works closely with each student, from the definition of career options to the development and implementation of a career search strategy. Most of the Academic Council and faculty members are from either the IITs or IIMs (or both) and provide Valuable assistance offering their knowledge and network of contacts. The Placement Cell offers you professional career counseling.

We also have a comprehensive Career Resources Unit that stocks material covering different industry sectors, information about companies, and self-help guides, such as books on CV's and cover letter writing. Networking is one of the most effective methods of finding your dream career. The Placement Cell and the program office will organize networking initiatives including meetings with alumni and executive search consultants to expose you to many different sectors. Everyone you meet can give you ideas, help you review your CV or provide valuable contacts.
